Ten reasons that Make Cuci the Musical 2 Soo Worth Watching

hi guys.. it's been a while kan?
well am still in Cuci's Mood
i missed it last year coz.. tsgt sibuk...
so this year .. when i heard they are going to stage Cuci the Musical again.. I was sooo looking forward to see it..
setelah bersusah payah membook and merebook tiket.. i finally got the chance to see it on the 30th of July 2010.. with my BFF Zil..
hmm.. mmg best sgt... x rugi pegi.. the most entertaining 3 hours of my life!
here are ten reasons that make Cuci The Musical soo meletop!


1. Hans Isaac sgt handsome.. rasa nak kidnap dia and simpan dlm almari then he will be the most handsome skeleton in the closet ever!
2. Good casting.. replacing Ac with Raja Lawak Nabil is a brilliant decision coz i think Nabil is naturally funny .. even when he laughed and forgot his lines we still find in amusing..
3. Interesting Storyline.. the modified plot , adding Jacqueline Victor in the list has definitely spiced up the whole thing... She needs to brush up on the acting skills though.. but as for her singing..wow she is really 1 in a Million!
4. Superb set n prop... the klcc building looks so real.. seram tgk mase hans nak jatuh... rasa nak g tangkap die je time tu hehe
5. Beautiful chareography.. thumbs up for Pat Ibrahim for the smooth and creative dances throughout the play.

Sebab musabab kenapa kedai makan selalu gulung tikar..

Mak ai.. ni rumah ke gua?

sawang giler rumah Pink ini

time to vakum, mop2 dan sapu2 lantai..

jom renovate sket..

Kemas? xde mood nak menjadi bibik ini malam kerana Pink sgt hangin! kalah kumulus nimbus (eh bukan awan ker kwang2)

amarah Pink ini muncul tetibe rentetan dari kunjungan ke kedai mkn nih..

magik giler.. balik mkn je tetibe Pink jadi bussiness analyst hehe..

well people hasil kunjungan tanpa henti ..( well i eat outside for at least 21 times per week)

dapatan saya menunjukkan bahawa punca kbanyakkan kedai orang kite cepat gulung tikar adalah kerana:


1. Kualiti makanan tidak konsisten


cth: adalah satu kedai asam pedas nih.. sebab Pink x mkn sgt asam pedas so Pink makan ler mee bandung .. first impression mmg perh.. dengan telur goyang2, dengan sotong sebesar Paul, daging tetel yang selonggok, udang2 segar yang sgt mengancam & sayur sawi hijau dan segar yang Pink rase boleh wat penanaman semula if x abis mkn hehe mee yang bole mkn dua orang.. kuah yang cukup pekat, masin , masam dan manisnya ( eh mcm nano2 la pulak) .. mmg teranngkat.. kalau Brad pit lalu kt belakang pun sure x nampak.. syok habis!


i ended up spending that evening telling everyone about the marvellous mee bandung.. for me it's not easy to find mee bandung muar yang kaw2 outside johor...

so hasil promosiku yang robust , after postponing a few times , after about a month.. I went back to the shop with my sister and the whole clan yg x sabar2 nak try mee bandung itew..

jeng.. jeng.. jeng..

demi terhidang mee itu jiwa Pink bergelora.. eh salah order ker..

Pink siap panggil itu waiter and tanya ni mee bandung ke? die kata ye le..

mak datuk.. sgt jauh panggang dr punggung...

tiada lagi Paul .. maybe dah pindah spain.. udang? adala 2 ekor.. tu pun mcm besa sikit je dr udang geragau...

sayur? adala kobis sehelai due..

daging? puas aku selak mee.. x nampak pung..

xtau la kot2 die dah menyerap didalam mee itu..

telur? nasib ada dan masih bergoyangan..

kuah? this is the most dissapointing part.. coz for me if kuah power xde yg lain2 pun xpe..


mmg kecewa sgt.. dahla harga naik seringgit... baik beli mee ruzki perasa mee bandung waaay better..! non of us bejaya menghabiskan mee itu..

mcm nak tanye je kalau pulang balik mee yang x abs tu bole refund x? hehe

tebal jugak la telinge Pink dengar satu keta bebel.. tabah je Pink buat2 tdo

terus diaorang black list kedai tu..

sayang kan.. product bagus tp x maintain.. lama2 org xnak pegi sape yang rugi?


2. Menu x serupa bikin

kt dlm menu punya la panjang list..

kambing goreng belacan... air chocolate tiga rasa.. nasi goreng talipon.. mixed grill, steamed abalon with black bean, udang galah berempah campur telur masin.. kailan ikan masin dari laut dalam..

pendek kata ngalahkan menu buffet kt five star hotel serba serbi ada..

pas tu ..

Pink : abang nak order nasi goreng talipon..

Waiter : maaf cik menu tu dah lama xde

Dlm hati Pink : xde kalu ko goreng le nasi dgn handphone ko le mangkuk

Pink : oklah saya nak order udang galah...

Waiter : cik udang xde stok arini diaorang x g laut.. minyak tumpah bla.. bla bla..

Dlm hati Pink : eh sejak bile prihatn pasal minyak tumpah ni? mcm x leh pancing udang dlm kolah..

Pink : kalau mcm tu saya nak order air chocolate je la

Waiter : cik milo je kitaorang ada..

Dlm hati Pink :elo brader.. umah nenek Pink pun ada milo tau


jadi apakah motif meletak segala menu yang indah2 kalau sume xde? haruskah Pink blacklist kedai ini juga?

Bestnye Seri Mersing!


last friday..

sgt stress..

malang datang bertimpa-timpa ( left handfon in the car , bag putus , wardrobe malfunction, pakai baju terbalik, tiket train tersangkut dlm mesin... etc.. etc)

so i decided to make all my worries go away for at least ten minutes..

nak g tgk alice in wonderland 3d tapi dari midvalley sampai OU sume sold out..

so.. finally my best fren aka cik seri siantan bought me ticket to watch teater " Seri Mersing"

memule pegi mcm malas2 .. coz i rase sure bosan macam cipan...

but dari mule pementasan hingga ke ending.. sgt best ok.. excellent script , fantastic casts, wonderful props.. it's sooo perfect and deserve 5 star rating !

paling i suke tgk Ady Putra x pakai baju.. topless gitu ...sexy siut!

Apple& Cherry pie with oat crumble...

Hot from the oven... (ignore my ugly tray please)


my 1st apple crumble slice...





Hye ,

Hope it's not too late for me to wish everyone Gong Xi Fa Chai.. err.. i think i was possessed by CNY spirit last weekend coz out of the blue my cooking mood yang dah lama terpadam tetibe muncul haha.. last sunday ,suddenly i craved for Awana Genting's Apple crumble pie.... since i wasnt feeling well ( demam urat) i decided not to go to Awana but tried to make my own pie... nerves siot buat cucur pun x penah tetibe buat apple crumble lak.. haha .. after googling the recipe i decided to combine Jamie Oliver's topping with Nigella's filling and zuraini's cheese tart base hehe.. hantam je..



ok ni recipenye







Apple Cherry Pie with Oat crumble
( for 6 inch tray- kecik je)


a. Base
10 pieces chocolate flavoured biskut marrie
2 pieces oreo biscuit ( buang krim die)
3 sudu mkn melted butter

- hancurkan, tekan and padatkan kat tray.
refrigerate while u prepare the filling and topping

b. Filling
3 medium size granny smith apples - peeled, cored and thinly sliced
50 gram sugar ( i used brown sugar)
3/4 teaspoon cinnamon/ nutmeg powder
1 spoonfull water
2-3 spoonfull corn starch / flour
50 gram Red cherries


-Put the apples in to a pan with the sugar ,water and cinnamon powder.
add flour/starch to thicken it.
Cook over a low heat for 5 minutes and place in a small oven proof dish.
add red cherries just before u switch it off..
let it cool for a while


c. Topping

35g rolled oats/ instant oat pun bole
35g flour
20g caster sugar
35g margarine or butter
30 gram almond flakes (toasted)

-Place the flour and oats in a bowl and mix well. Cut the margarine or butter in to small cubes and add this to the oats and flour. Mix with your fingertips until it resembles an even crumb texture. Add the sugar and mix through.Add almond flakes


Methods:

1.Preheat the oven to 190°C
2.Pour the filling ontop of the base.
3.Cover the fruit with the crumble mixture.
4.Bake for approximately 25- 30 minutes until the crumble is golden and the apple hot.
5. serve with vanilla sauce or vanilla ice-cream


note the seductive red cherries in the pie.. lovely!
p/s: i did use all the crumble coz i used small tray, i perhaps it is meant for 9 inch tray. i did not serve it with ice cream or vanilla sauce , i just sprinkle brown sugar to make it taste more interesting :)

My 1st Makyung Experience..


Berpeluang menyaksikan persembahan mak yung adalah satu pengalaman baru buat saya..
When Jil called me up last week and asked me to accompany her and her rombongan SEMASHUR ke Istana Budaya I was quite reluctant and took quite sometimes to make up my mind..
Not that i dont enjoy seeing a play n such but because i am well aware of the fact that Mak Yung is 100% delivered in kelantanese dialect.. being a pure Johorean , of course i find that dialect quite alien for me.. (err plus i x pernah ada any Kelate Boipren to expose me to the dialect..)
the only reason why i didnt feel like going at first is because i am afraid i might find myself somehow "lost in translation" during the show.... But Jil is really good at finding a way to make me agree she promised to belanja me makan.. so apa lagi rezeki mane bole tolak hehe..
So I went.. and when the Mak yung started I was worried coz I couldnt understand a word sang by Raja Besar... I read the translation displayed but still couldt make sense of whatever the king was singing.. hmm..
I was just about to leave the Pangung Sari when suddenly I started to be interested upon hearing Sabri Yunos's voice.. being a natural stand up comedian , to me, he had succeeded in making the whole play lively and really worth watching...
His dialogues , actions and expression r very funny and made the whole panggung laughed!
Mak Yung Anak Raja 2 serupa would be lifeless without talented cast like Sabri and Juhara Ayub.... the plot is simple but the costume and background music is really excellent in making the play more interesting..
Hmm so it's true that artwork should be appreciated accross culture , language and nationality..
and of course i dun mind going for another Mak Yung show in the future
